The 1930’s oil boom changed forever the cultural and economic landscape in East Texas. The Boomtown cyclorama re-creates the frenetic atmosphere of the time. Dioramas and still images colorfully depict the emerging culture and the importance of the oil industry to the region’s developing economy.

High-tech immersive environments, rich multimedia productions, over-sized oil field murals, and original oil field equipment, are used to take the visitor back to the richest oil fields ever discovered in the United States.
